Finalists in the East Midlands Business Awards 2023

We're thrilled to share the news that HSG has been nominated as a finalist in the sustainability category at the East Midlands Chamber Business Awards 2023! Situated in the heart of the East Midlands, our Derby-based location is emblematic of our commitment to continuing to innovate our sector through sustainability. We are long-term patrons of East Midlands Chamber's great work within our region, having first joined the programme back in 2008.

The Ureco System is our market-leading water-saving technology for urinals that conserves this precious resource whilst improving washroom hygiene. The system is trusted by thousands of clients nationwide and as a result of this, we saved over 1.2 billion litres of water and 537 tonnes of CO2 in 2022 alone. The Ureco is a testament to our dedication to sustainability and demonstrates why we are The Sustainable Washroom Experts.

Our sustainability prowess does not stop there, however. HSG is on a mission to achieve carbon neutrality within our operations and be net zero by 2044 - way ahead of the government guidelines of 2050. These aren't just goals; they're promises to reduce our carbon footprint and inspire positive change in our industry and beyond. The success of our Ureco system and related products combined with our internal sustainability goals have undoubtedly put us as frontrunners in this prestigious award.
