HSG MD Shortlisted For Top Award

HSG Founder and Managing Director Simon Rice has been shortlisted in the Entrepreneur of the Year category, sponsored by The Alternative Board, which recognises a dynamic and creative business leader.

HSG won the Chamber’s Business Improvement Through Technology award last year in recognition of the savings in costs and resources for customers achieved through the company’s unique two-fold system – the Ureco and Uretech.

The judges also applauded HSG's research and development of the Cleen App and Dashboard which is the UK’s first fully integrated management tool and review app designed to raise washroom standards.

This year’s nomination recognises the vital role that Simon Rice has played in the development and growth of HSG and how his vision has spearheaded the company’s award-winning innovations.

He said: “I am humbled to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award and for continued recognition for the positive impact that HSG is making on raising standards washroom services and water conservation.”

The 2019 awards finalists were announced at the Chamber president’s summer reception and the winners will be revealed at a gala dinner in September.

Winners of specific awards will automatically go through to the regional heats of the British Chambers of Commerce Awards and could go onto represent the region at the BCC national awards.
