HSG's Cleen Reaches Finals of Prestigious Awards

The growing impact that Cleen is making on helping businesses maintain high standards in washroom hygiene and facilities has been recognised by a prominent regional awards scheme.
Cleen has been shortlisted in the Digital Engineering/Technology category of Made in the Midlands - the annual celebration of Midlands manufacturing.
HSG, the market leader washroom water conservation and the company behind the development of Cleen, has been shortlisted alongside seven other Midlands-based companies for the award.
Cleen is the UK’s first fully integrated washroom facilities management tool and review app to help venues and washroom services providers address issues and promote their high-quality facilities.
Cleen is made up of three products:
- The Cleen App is free to download onto smartphones and enables the public to log good and bad reviews of venue washrooms, raising issues for improvement.
- The Cleen Tablet is programmed specifically for each washroom, allowing customers to easily review the washroom on-site.
- The Cleen Dashboard then allows businesses to monitor reviews, take action and respond to feedback. The Dashboard is also used by Service Providers, as they link with the business to provide an easy issue reporting system, which logs progress and performance.
The Made in the Midlands awards, organised by Midlands Business Insider publication, this year marked its tenth anniversary with a record number of entries. There have been 83 submissions from 63 companies, well up on last year’s 69 from 54 and judges have whittled down the entries to a shortlist of 76 for ten categories.
The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Thursday 3 September at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel, Birmingham.
Those winners will automatically become finalists for Insider’s Made in the UK Awards, on Wednesday 18 November in Liverpool, where they will compete with the victors from seven other regions.
