Derbyshire County Cricket Club

The long-established club’s Incora County Ground in Derby is in high demand throughout the year due to its continued success on the pitch and extensive high quality conference and banqueting facilities.

It’s pioneering ‘Derbyshire Experience’ initiative has led to flourishing event bookings from corporate hospitality on match days to weddings as well as a number of key events from concerts to major conferences.

With five-star food hygiene ratings and glowing feedback for first-class catering, the club was keen to match its investment in hospitality facilities with ensuring that washroom facilities gave the right first impression to cricket fans and banqueting guests alike.

Since the original installation in 2018, Derbyshire County Cricket Club has used 9.6 million litres less water, reducing CO2 emissions by 10.17 tonnes and saving more than £24,000 in utility and repair bills.

Commercial Manager Jimmy Drew said: “Maintaining high standards is just as important in the washrooms as it is in the presentation of our corporate facilities, the quality of our catering and of course the results on the pitch.

“Our club has been embedded in the fabric of the county for just over 150 years and we were delighted to be able to work with Derby company HSG to achieve these savings which is an important part of increasing environmental sustainability at the Incora County Ground.”
