Uretap

By using the natural surface tension properties of water, the Uretap forms a sheet of water which reduces water consumption by up to 50% and energy usage by up to 30%. It is a small attachment that can be fitted to the end of your existing tap, so no expensive plumbing is required.

Taps

The Uretap optimises flow into a sheet of water that is great for washing and rinsing. The sheet of water is formed by the Uretaps patented design, which forces water through a smaller outlet that amplifies the water pressure, allowing for lower water pressure and therefore less water is used.

This translates to a 50% reduction in water savings, because the Uretap uses between 1.9 and 2.7 litres per minute, compared to a normal tap which uses 10 to 20 litres per minute. In turn, this means that less energy is required to heat the water passing through the tap, which typically sees a 30% reduction in energy usage. Furthermore, the Uretap can be retrofitted to almost any existing tap, making it easy to install with no need for expensive plumbing.
